Connock Candle Matches

A beautiful box of long candle matches perfect to keep on hand for lighting any Connock Candle.

Their extra length makes them ideal for reaching the wicks of candles that have burned low, or for lighting multiple candles at once.

1. Prepare the area

Ensure the area you're lighting (e.g., a candle, fireplace, or grill) is free from flammable materials.

Open windows slightly if indoors, for ventilation.

2. Remove one match

Gently take a single long match from the box.

3. Strike the match

Hold the match firmly by the wooden stick (away from the tip).

Strike the black tip along the rough strip on the side of the matchbox with a quick, firm motion.

4. Light your target

Bring the lit tip to the wick, kindling, or surface you want to light.

Tilt the match slightly upward if needed to keep the flame steady.

5. Extinguish safely

Once the flame has served its purpose, blow it out gently or dip it into water or sand.

Ensure it’s fully out and cool before discarding.

6. Store responsibly

Keep the matches in their box, stored in a dry place, out of reach of children and pets.
